Joe Davidson selected as 50-Year Banker Award Honoree by the Texas Bankers Foundation

Joe Davidson of FirstCapital Bank of Texas (FCB) in Byers has been selected as a recipient of the 2021 50-Year Banker Award by the Texas Bankers Foundation and was honored at the Texas Bankers Association’s 136th Annual Convention in Austin during a special awards luncheon on Aug. 27.

“We’re ecstatic for Joe to be selected for this award, he is a well-known banker in Clay County and has excelled in his banking career throughout his time. We’re excited to celebrate this great milestone with Joe,” said Wichita Falls Market President, Brent Hillery.

The Texas Bankers Association is proud to promote for the 32nd consecutive year the recognition of bankers who have devoted 50 years or more of service to the banking industry.

Davidson graduated in 1971 from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas with a bachelor’s in business administration. Joe became a banker with First National Bank (FNB) in Byers and began his banking career. He has worked for FNB for 42 years before FNB acquired Fidelity Bank where he worked for six years. FCB then acquired Fidelity Bank in March 2019 and Joe currently services as the SVP, Branch President of the Byers branch location and has been with the financial institution for two years.
