FirstCapital Bank of Texas SVP, Receives TBA Emerging Leader Award
MIDLAND, Texas – Shea Ferland SVP, Team Resources Manager of FirstCapital Bank of Texas (FCB) is a proud recipient of this year’s Emerging Leader Award by the Texas Bankers Association Foundation. The award honors bankers who have had a positive impact in the banking industry and display leadership qualities within their banks. The award was created last year by the Texas Bankers Foundation in partnership with the Bank Leadership Council.
To be honored for the award bankers must have five years of experience in banking, be an employee of a TBA member banking institution. Ferland was nominated because of her initiatives to continue to move the bank forward. She has implemented new employee programs and processes that benefit the employees and culture at FCB.
Ferland also serves on many of the bank’s internal committees and external committees within the community and banking industry such as, Society for Human Resources Management, and the Texas Banker’s Association Bank Leadership Council and she has volunteered with the Midland Habitat for Humanity,.
