Outdoor living is part of the Hill Country culture; however, before Judy and Robert Miller opened their patio furniture store, many residents had to travel to Austin or San Antonio if they wanted to create their own backyard retreat. That’s when Judy and Robert realized there was a need in the community for an outdoor furnishings store.

In March 2000, they opened OutBack Patio Furnishings. The store offers customers everything one needs to create an outdoor oasis. Providing numerous options for furniture, rugs, lighting, décor and gas logs, they can match any individual’s style. If one isn’t exactly sure what they want, OutBack Patio Furnishings also offers consultation services to help customers select just the right look for their outdoor area.

Judy says that as a small business, they put great emphasis on getting to know their customers to help provide them with the best service possible.

Getting to know their community is one reason that in 2007, the Millers chose to open a new Marble Falls business – OutBack Party Rentals.

In addition to relaxing in the backyard, Judy says events and parties are often a part of life in the Hill Country. Although people would host events, Robert said it was often inconvenient for people to have to travel to pick up party equipment like bounce houses or tables and chairs, which led them to meeting another need in the community.

OutBack Party Rentals offers rental services including décor, linens, food/beverage serving dispensers, outdoor heating, tents and AV equipment. Whether it’s a wedding or a holiday event, OutBack Party Rentals strives to be the customer’s one source for event needs.

Before an event, Robert meets with his customers to help determine their needs and the desired ambience for the event. From the décor to the logistics, Robert and his team give great attention to detail to ensure the event is a success and is as stress-free as possible. Robert said it’s their attention to detail and commitment to the customer’s needs that help set OutBack Party Rentals apart from other businesses.
