Hometown Highlight: Texas Premier Childcare
Every parent wants to guarantee that their child will be safe, educated and socialized while at a daycare facility. Most families want to choose a daycare right for them and their child with quality being a top priority. Texas Premier Childcare ensures just that, a high-quality daycare in the West Texas region.
Texas Premier Childcare facility is owned and operated by Billy and Kelly Slaughter and located in Amarillo, Texas. Their team has over 75 years of combined childcare experience and serves children from the ages of 6 weeks to 6-years-old. They have two preschool programs and a separate childcare program. The daycare also offers a creative curriculum and involves a range of subjects for children to learn, including math, music, science, reading, and writing. An indoor and outdoor environment is an added benefit to their facility, which allows children to get fresh air during the day.
We bring a lot of education into our learning facilities with our outstanding curriculum; we also invest in making sure our facilities are safe and clean, being our top priority along with staying consistent with our policies and procedures. Our staff is involved in the lives of the children that we serve and we highly value being a part of their lives, said Kelly Slaughter.
Texas Premier Childcare ensures the success of their children by providing an opportunity for physical, social, and emotional childhood educational experience while at their facility. They also encourage exploration, self-expression, independence, and responsibility. The team strives to meet all Texas Department of Family and Protective Services requirements and team members are certified in SIDS, CPR, and First Aid.
“We have a love and passion for children, our staff, and parents. We have one of the most important jobs than anyone, and we take it very seriously,” said Kelly Slaughter. In addition, the daycare is a participant of the Texas Rising Star (TRS) program, a quality rating and improvement system for Texas early childhood programs.
“The community is near and dear to our hearts, and we wanted to continue to elevate our business and provide the highest quality childcare as the community grows,” added Billy Slaughter.
