Hometown Highlight – Occasions Fine Jewelry

Occasions Fine Jewelry

Whether it’s for Christmas, a birthday or just because, Occasions Fine Jewelry in Midland has the perfect gift for anyone and, for any occasion.

Occasions’ current location at 2308 W. Loop 250 N. in Midland opened its door for the first time in 2008, but their story began 19 years earlier in 1989 when Mike Fleck started his business in the back of his uncle’s drug store – operating out of one room with a roll-top desk.

With the support of Midlanders and his wife Cathy Fleck, Occasions continued to grow into what it is today – a full-service fine jewelry store offering local charm and exceptional customer service. The second generation owned store is now owned by Mike Fleck’s son, Michael and offers customers quality and a “comfortable shopping experience.”

“We like our customers to feel extremely comfortable when they come into the store,” said Todd Huckeba, Occasions General Manager.  “We try to destroy the average perception of a fine jewelry store to the average person, so that they are comfortable to come in here. … A lot of people think, ‘I can’t go into that store, because there’s nothing I can afford.’ That’s simply not true though. I have items starting at $29 that you can give to a loved one, that you can say came from Occasions and it will blow them away.”

Not only do they offer affordable jewelry for every budget, but every single piece of jewelry is hand-picked by their expert staff. From bridal pieces to every day wear and men’s pocket knives – every piece purchased is guaranteed with a lifetime warranty (excluding watches).
